Frequently asked questions
Why choose a battery-powered pool lift?
Battery-powered lifts are perfect when there is insufficient water pressure or when you do not wish to pre-install a water inlet. They are also ideal if you want to avoid any type of anchoring, as they operate completely independently thanks to their built-in 24V battery.
What do I need for installation?
In the case of the METALU 400, nothing. You simply place it at the edge and start using it. The METALU 600, on the other hand, comes with anchoring bolts at the base. You simply need to anchor it to the pool edge. All our models are supplied with a step-by-step installation manual and technical assistance service for any queries.
Does it need to be connected to electricity?
No. Each lift has a built-in battery that provides 25-30 uses per charge, without needing to be connected to the electrical grid. It is supplied with two batteries, so one can be in use while the other is charging.
Should I remove the lift after the swimming season?
Yes. When the swimming season ends, the battery-powered pool lift must be stored in a covered location with suitable environmental conditions. Following the maintenance recommendations is essential to keep the lift in optimal condition.
Is the user autonomous when using the Metalu battery lifts?
All our pool lifts are designed for the user to be fully autonomous, provided their mobility allows it.
The raising and lowering of the seat are operated by a handheld control panel that is completely accessible to the user both in and out of the water.
METALU 400 or METALU 600?
Both have the same features: autonomous user operation, capacity up to 120 kg or 150 kg, and a footrest is included. The main difference is in the installation system:
Metalu 400: portable, requires no installation. It can be placed at any point of the pool and stored when not in use.
Metalu 600: fixed-removable, designed to remain at the pool permanently during the swimming season.
